What TinyDesk.run is
TinyDesk.run makes “Outstanding” Tiny Desk AI videos from your photos. You upload a clear photo of the lead singer, and we put that face into a vertical 9:16 video of about 19 seconds, with sound, cut like the viral clip that spread on TikTok in October 2026.
How a video is made
The lead singer always changes, and you can add the sax player or the whole band. By default the two lead close-ups are generated from your photo and the band's three shots come from a fixed AI-generated cast, joined frame by frame at the original cuts, with the original sound underneath. The full band is generated as one 19-second clip from your photos. The full walk-through, with the time of every shot, is on the home page.
What it is not
- It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by NPR, NPR Music's Tiny Desk, Charlie Wilson or The Gap Band. “Tiny Desk” is a trademark of NPR.
- The picture is not the real concert. It is AI-generated parody.
- It is not for impersonation. Only upload photos of adults who have agreed to appear, and label the result as AI-generated when you share it.
Your photos
Your photos are checked by an automated safety filter, used only to make your video, and deleted within 7 days. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Who runs it
TinyDesk.run is an independent project run by a small team. Credits are one-time purchases, never expire, and are returned automatically if a video fails. See the pricing page and the Refund Policy.
